Liliane heard footsteps coming behind her.
"Freddie!" She gasped.
Oh my gosh. I look hideous. Her shirt was still covered in mud, and now her hair was frizzing up.
"I look like crap, and it's his fault," she laughed as she jabbed Icarus in the gut with her wand.

What did she expect his advice to be? Nice . HA! As if. Especially seeing as the last thing he wanted to do was give advice. He rolled her eyes. “I did suggest waiting until after the ball,” he pointed out, “That way, you’ll have a date. I mean, obviously if there was no Freddie you wouldn’t ever get one. I bet he was trying to be nice.” He smiled, “A little too nice if you ask me.”

Then Liliane blabbed on, asking him for another advice.

“Woah there. Looks like you didn’t listen to my number one advice yet,” he observed with a sigh. It was then when he realized something. Why should Liliane be the one talking? He could too. Yeah, he could be the one driving her crazy until she let him down. So, he was right about to do that when….

Freddie walked in.

Great. The whole party was here. Liliane had decided to blame him for her ugliness. He just smiled, “Oh, come on. How is it my fault? I’m the guy hanging upside down here. Oh, and Freddie, your girlfriend over here was just talking about breaking-up with you. How do you feel about that?” He raised an eyebrow.

Freddie laughed slightly at Liliane.
"You look great" He said admiringly, putting his arm around her and fiddling with her hair.
"your girlfriend over here was just talking about breaking-up with you."
"Ah Icarus, I am unbreakable my friend as I have no girlfriend, we are just friends who are going together"
Freddie smiled, avoiding looking at Liliane's face.
He hoped this was a gentle way of telling Liliane how it was between them.

She sighed in relief.
"We're simply going to the ball together, Icarus you toad." She smirked.
Sure being Freddie's girlfriend would be lovely. Walking down the corridors, hand in hand. The images floated through her mind.
"Just going to the ball," she smiled at Freddie.
She glanced at Icarus who was just staring at Freddie twiddling with her hair.
"Should I let him down," she asked Freddie.

Icky didn’t know what to say. One reason was the vast opportunity of teasing. He didn’t know what to choose and ended up just looking at the two friends talk. Blah, bah, blah “should I take him down?” Should I take him down? By him she had to mean him. Icky grinned, showing that he wanted to be let down. Finally he’ll be free.

Suddenly, something hit him on the feet, splashing on his shoes. He struggled to look up and saw rain, crashing down all around him. More and more splashed onto him and the two people standing bellow. Great. It was raining. Now he better be let down or else the revenge will be worse than ever. Of course, he had no idea what his revenge was going to be. He just knew it was going to be good.

Yeah.

Freddie looked up at the sky and cast a shielding charm around him and Liliane.
"Yeah let him down, we need to go buy you a dress anyway!" He answered.
He was eager to go to Diagon Alley anyway, and he needed to visit Marco for a new dress robe.

It started to rain. ooh I love rain. I should just leave dear Icky here.
"Yeah let him down, we need to go buy you a dress anyway!" Freddie had said.
"Oh alright," and with a flick her of wand Liliane let Icarus down.
"Behave," she hissed at him.
Turning to Freddie she grinned, "Cool ! Let's go to Diagon Alley then, but I have to clean up first."

Freddie chuckled, "Of course, i'll meet you by the whomping willow" he added.

15 minutes later, Liliane finally came in sight.
They hurried through the whomping willow and were soon on the streets of Diagon Alley.
