Adelina wandered into Honeydukes, and picked up a packet of Droobles Best Blowing Gum.
Nothing better.
Technically, Adelina should be in herbology, but she had decided to replenish her sweet stock insntead.
They'll be no one here, anyway. The 'official' visit wasn't for another week.
Adelina browsed the other shelves, her mind was so muddled because of the party that she kept forgetting what she needed.

Caleb was just about to browse the shelves of Honeydukes, (his favourite hang-out, of course) when he was taken aback. Another student? What the...?

Shrugging it off, he went up to a shelf and breathed in the scent of the delectables, forgetting for just a moment that he could be reported for being out of school. Oh wait, so could she. Wonderful.

Adelina looked up as another student walked into Honeydukes.
Gryffindor, his name was Calab right?
Adelina watched him walk over to the shelves in front of her.
"Free period?" She mocked, smiling sweetly at him.
She knew full well he was also supposed to be in lesson.

Caleb swung around, only to be met with a mocking tone and a sickly sweet glare. He might have laughed, but he knew he was meant to be incognito.

"Pfft. I wish. Same goes for you, I'm guessing?"

He retorted, looking dead into the eyes of the girl.

"I happen to know a very grateful hufflepuff who will sort my Herbology work for me" She replied, putting a swirly strawberry lollipop in her mouth.
It is the least Liam can do.
Should she invite him to the After Ball Party?
It would annoy Preston to know he wasn't the first person to be invited.
"Umm, while you're here, i'm hosting an After ball party in the room of requirement, interested?" She'd lowered her voice to a whisper now and was leaning closely to him.

He let out a small laugh.
"Hufflepuffs can be so gullible sometimes. I've got a ravenclaw doing mine, though."
He flashed a debonair-ish grin.
Sticking an every-flavour bean onto his tongue, he pondered her proposal for a minute.
"... Like I'd miss a party."
He thrust his hand out towards her.
"Caleb. and you are?"

Adelina accepted his outstretched hand.
"Adelina, the best host at Hogwarts" She gave a little nod of her head.
Truth be told she was a little annoyed he didn't know who she was.
The Avellone parties are famous.
She had people begging her for invites.
Nobody threw a party like Adelina.
"So, just doing some shopping?" She enquired glancing at his handful of sweets.

Caleb grinned.
'She seems okay.' he thought.
He glanced towards the sweets in his hand.
"Oh, yeah. Can't help it. I love this place."
Hand running through his hair, he approached the counter to pay for the various confections.
He popped an Ice Mouse in his mouth, and proceeded to grin again.
'Excellent.'

How do I ask him whether he is pureblood without coming across rude..
Adelina followed him into the queue to pay for her own sweets.
"So, what's your story?" She asked, pretending not to be interested.
Her eyes glancing over his body.

Hearing Adelina's question, Caleb's hand flew instinctively to the nape of his neck. He rubbed it nervously.
'How to deal with this one...'
"Ehh. To be honest, I think I'm gonna need you to elaborate on that."
He popped another mouse in his mouth and chewed slightly tensely. Talking about 'his story' was one of his least favourite things to do - ever.

So it was a touchy subject.
"Well all I know about you is your name and house." She replied, watching carefully for his reaction.
"Do you have family, are you a pure blood, do you play quidditch, do you think Preston is a jerk? Come on help a girl out!"
She hoped she had fitted the question in unnoticed.

"To sum it up: I have a family but I don't like most of them, I'm a muggleborn, I love quidditch, and I haven't got a clue who Preston is."

Eyebrow raised, he studied her questioningly.

'I hope that was sufficient for your ladyship...'

Muggleborn? Ick. But he's not that bad. He doesn't like his family- that's good.
He has no idea who Preston is- that's a plus.
She smiled, "Sweet." She said as she picked up one of his mice and put it in her mouth teasingly.
"Well, I best be going, I have a party to plan" She placed some money on the counter and dissapeared into the back, unnoticed by the shop assistant.
