Family: Jo was born to Gloria and Rex Cohen in the small town of Painswick in Gloucestershire, England. Being born into a small tight-knit family with no other siblings in the small two story house of her parents. Her mother, Gloria, is a half blood that was prohibited by Jo’s paternal grandparents to marry Rex, but really they rebelled as all the other cliché love stories, but this one ended happily, somewhat. Seeing as Rex was disowned from his family, they were drama free from there own. Now the family just consists of her parents and wizard of a grandfather, her muggle grandmother passed away three years ago.

Appearance: Standing at an average height of five feet and and six inches, but she doesn’t mind being somewhat at the short end of the stick from her family gene pool (they’re all over five feet ten). Her hair runs down, around two feet in length and is mostly wavy- unless she finds the energy or need in straightening it. And it’s also tinted a light blonde almost white (occasionally it is in the sunlight), but as stated before, she gets lazy with her hair and prefers it being natural sometimes, both in style and color- a few brunette roots might pop in. Her skin isn’t.. ghastly white, just a healthy tone with a bit of a glow. Her lips are thin but slightly plump with a hint of pink in them and mostly her lower lip might be chapped, seeing as she bites it quite a bit out of habit.

Personality: When you finally get a few words out of Jo you'll understand she's nothing like what she looks like. The way she dresses when robes aren't required or the make she wears screams as if she's the loud and in your face type, but she's quite the opposite. It's not that she's shy or anything- if you start a conversation she'll answer back and be at her best -she prefers not being paid any attention to.

Mostly sweet and softspoken, there would only be two possible ways for anyone to see this relaxed girl at her worst: the first being if you call her Josephina, utter a syllable extra and she will have you hanging by your ankle in the air. Second being if somewhere to just rip her sketch book out of her hands asking to look at it, but not bothering to wait for an answer, besides that (she'll most likely hex you bad enough to go to Mungo's), she'll be at her sweetest even if you spit in her face. Some may find her odd for that, but she's rather peaceful.

Speaking of peaceful, the main reason why she loves her sketchbook so is because of the fact she can walk out to the Lake and just feel happy by drawing the smooth water or anything else out there. Only one thing irritates her constantly, Hogwarts. She never want to come here, at all, or to any wizarding school for that part- so if you love Hogwarts and consider it your home, don't expect Jo to be all smiles about your opinion.

History: Since she could remember, Jo always spent her time with her maternal grandparents, loving each and every moment she had with them, mostly because her parents weren't around as much as they were since they worked most of the day. Being raised by her grandparents made her a bit old fashion and extremely close to them. So it was no wonder that when she recieved her letter at eleven years old that she didn't want to be torn away from them. Even holidays weren't the same, especially when she turned twelve and her grandmother was getting sick; her reason for hating Hogwarts become stronger. When her grandmother passed away when she was thirteen, she became even more reclusive- even disregarding her sketchbook that she hadn't put down since she got her first one at seven. Slowly she was able to just remember the nice times she had with her "Ama" and continued sketching to pass the time. Now in her sixth year, she’s counting down the days to go back to Painswick with her small family and to enjoy the rest of her young adult/adolescent years before studying something that may or may not involve wand waving.
